Hey Sensei Al I was on another forum, and your name came up so someone sent me here. This is the other thread if you want to check it out:
http://forum.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=messageboard.viewThread&EntryID=46949912&categoryID=0&groupID=100337850
Anyway I was curious as to what your BJJ lineage was. One of your students posted that you were a BJJ black belt, but when I asked him who you got it from he got upset, and didn't offer any information.
Anyway my question is who are you ranked under in BJJ? and are you indeed a black belt?
just curious because we're on the same coast, and I thought I knew most of the other instructors, though I understand your school is fairly new.
Peace,
M-Tri |

Hello Mikey
It seems that the Mecho and you are already acquainted.
Please let me be frank with you, I don't care what you say behind my back. You are not the first internet punk we've had jerking off speaking big and bad mouthing bjj.
If you beat one of my fighters to prove that you are not a time waster then and only then will I put aside three minutes to roll with you but until then you can go jump off a bridge for all I care. Al |

You are a silly boy challenging Sensei Al. From your picture you look more like a woman than a man. And Sensei Al is a real man. So you should watch your lip. |

Wow, I have to say this isn't the response I expected.
First of all I am not bad mouthing BJJ. I am a, active BJJ competitor, and instructor myself. I only asked you a simple question about your lineage in BJJ. What is so difficult about answering that? and why do people think that I challenged you? Mecho challenged me on your behalf, lol. I would have thought you wouldn't approve, but apparently I was incorrect.
If you are seriously issuing a challenge to me, then I accept. But I think you are misinterpreting my intentions posting here. I am simply looking for some information. From what I've seen it seems that you are a black belt in Traditional/Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, but I was simply asking what rank you are in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and who you learned from.
Both you and Mecho are being unreasonably defensive and volatile. |

You are rude and arrogant. Sensei Al is a black belt in BRAZILIAN jiu-jitsu you idiot. His instructors gave him this rank and you probably aren't even a black belt. You should respect your senoirs. |

I'm trying to, but you aren't making it easy. Why is it so difficult to answer a simple question? I don't want to have a problem with any of you, but you're making it that way. |

"sensei" al, it seems like you are running more of a cult than a bjj academy. i have poured my sweat, blood, and tears into bjj for over 4 years now and it insults me when i discover a shady person like yourself. if you are not a fraud then you would have no problem answering mikey's questions. |

Mikey,
When a man walks in to my Dojo and shouts Tanomou! in front of my students I offer him to the mat and I kick his ass. If he can get through one of my students first. That's how it is done in Jiu-Jitsu, how the Gracies did it when I started and I still believe in this important etiquette.
This forum is part of my school and I treat your challenge as I would in my dojo, mark my words.
If you aren't man enough to step onto the mat don't step into my message board and mouth off here either. Al. |

this is ridiculous. what is the big deal about answering you're lineage? but i guess you really know that you train in a good art when people want to lie about mastering it. |
